Jim began his technology career at Ford Motor Company, where he supported the movement of all materials across a 1.1 million-square-foot facility. He was responsible for the critical flow of materials to and from lean production cells, ensuring timely delivery of finished fascias (bumpers) to the assembly plant. Jim quickly emerged as a transformational leader and played a key role in the evolution of the Ford spin-off, Visteon.
During his tenure at Visteon, Jim managed plant floor system upgrades and coordinated software releases across plants in both North America and Europe. He was instrumental in a $2 billion technology outsourcing deal, overseeing governance of the global contract across more than 145 sites.

In leadership roles such as Client Manager, he collaborated across various business functions, including manufacturing, to review business cases, validate ROI, and support the development of new applications. He also led technology service benchmarking initiatives to reduce costs and improve quality, often directing strategic initiatives that resulted in operational excellence and productivity gains.
As Senior Manager of the Application Transformation Program, Jim led efforts to eliminate outdated and costly systems, streamlining licensing and infrastructure. Over the years, he has held numerous leadership positions across companies of various sizes, industries, and verticals. These roles included:

At IBM, Jim served as Senior Infrastructure Program Manager, leading a global team across the U.S., India, and Brazil for transformative infrastructure initiatives at Michelin’s North American headquarters in Greenville, SC. He also provided advisory services on leveraging emerging technologies to reduce costs, simplify environments, and drive operational efficiency.
Jim later took on the role of Client Director at Unify (formerly Siemens), where he led telecom sales and transformed the VOIP landscape. His responsibilities included hardware upgrades, legacy system elimination, and implementation of a modern telephony strategy.
Jim then joined CoffeeTree Group as VP of Business Development for the Metro Detroit region, delivering Advisory, Business Enablement, and Digital Transformation services.
He was later recruited by HCL Technologies to serve as Director – Vertical Service & Alliance Partnerships and Delivery – Latin America, where he led sales growth, aligned vertical relationships, curated demand with delivery teams, and wrote engagement SOWs to support MEGA LT, a $1.5B business unit.
Returning to CoffeeTree Group as a consultant, Jim led consulting and advisory engagements and was instrumental in delivering many successful, industry-relevant technology projects. He was recently promoted to Project Delivery Executive, where he now focuses on Manufacturing Optimization. In this role, Jim helps clients drive out waste, increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and improve quality through advanced solutions including vision systems, MES, and plant-wide performance dashboards—giving management a 100% view of site operations across all production lines.
